Actually the Egyptians had many colours in their land because they were already trading vastly with the Nubians. Of course, the USA is social-capitalism, but there is this mass dialogue that seems to be constantly trying to convince people that this is dangerous. This is despite the fact, however, that it works well in so many other countries where people live happier and healthier lives: eg, Sweden, Canada, France, GB, Germany, etc etc etc.

First of all, we are not a Democracy, we are a Republic. In a Democracy it's one

man one vote for every piece of legislation. We elect representatives to vote for

us.And last time I checked the government does not own/control the means of

production and distribution in this country (yet) so we are not Socialist.

Socialism/Communism (two sides of the same coin) has caused enough death

and destruction. Socialist systems have this nasty tendency toward committing

"put some of that 25% towards health care"....That would be all fine and dandy because that 25% SHOULD cover it all, but We have 16,000,000 government workers and all the corruption that goes with them!! so they're going to need 50% and when that doesn't cut it it will be 75%!!! ....If we weren't getting ripped off by all these crooks the 25% would be more than enough!!! with money to spare!!! We vowed, when the constitution was drafted, to cause our government to do certain things...

Establish justice.

Ensure domestic tranquility.

Provide for the common defense.

Promote the general welfare.

Secure the blessings of liberty.

But that does NOT imply socialism, it calls for minimal government services, and simple taxation to pay for them.

hmm... last time I checked we used to be a REPUBLIC, not a democracy. You know what democracy is? It's two wolves and a sheep voting on what to eat for lunch. Socialism collapses into facism.
