its possible season 5 will be better, but don't forget this is a college show, so 4 seasons kind of makes perfect sense :/ not to mention the possibility that season 5 will be bad, yet more popular due to people trying to keep it on, then they might start to purposely do bad things because they think it is related to viewers, i am just really scared for the show i guess :( and they are trying to get dan back, and if they do then great, but they probably wont :(

A lot of people say this and i can agree on some parts of what you say, but some of the reasons season 4 was so bad was the trouble with chevy and Dan. I wouldn't say that the show is worse than before but dont you think they deserve one more season to really show how good the show really is? i think season 5 will be better because hopefully all the trouble is now gone. Thats my opinion

Don't hate me for this but I wish it didn't get a 5th season. S1 was a great little show, pretty tame, S2 was the same but took the crazy funny things to a new level, season 3 was good, but not as good as the first two, and then season 4 sucked. You can tell Dan was not involved, on the surface it was the same but underneath it just felt synthetic. I want it to stop before it takes an extreme wrong turn :'(

Community has just been renewed for a fifth season as well as Parks & Recreation for a sixth season. The only two NBC comedies to be renewed for 2013-2014!! Initially 13 more episodes (97 total) but the show can be extended should the series perform well in the fall.

If I was a millionair, I would pay to keep the show going. I would not have any involvement with the show, just let them do more! I hope dvd sales are ridiculously good.

I think that after the series likely ends this season, they should do a movie (and get Dan Harmon back for it) and when they do the ending speech will be about how in their own way, four seasons and a movie is their own little six seasons and a movie.
