A drive on my honda cbr 125 earlier this year. FAILED my module 2 test twice, but going again this monday (16.6.09)... Wish me luck =) This single cylinder 125 13hp honda gets the job done. As you can see i over take a ford fiesta at about 60 mph.I just wish it had a bigger back tyre, dual discs up front and a couple more HP's , then it would be the perfect bike... But i still love it anyways haha.....

  • Dude!!! You're riding on the wrong side of the road...

  • lol yeah im crazy

  • MOD1 is easy, but i failed getting to speed on the avoidence and emergency stop, couldnt be done on the old CG125 i was given

  • I think on a bike as slow as a CG125 you would have to slip the clutch just to accelerate quicker. The CBR125 in this video made it just by about 1.5 mph lol.

  • Yeah, it really did annoy me on the day after all the training and that just to be let down by a few MPH, I even ragged the hell out of the gears.

How do you find the CBR? As they look pretty small built, im interested in getting one to practice on then hopefully pass my MOD1 then onto the 2nd part, only thing is im a nice 6"7 and i'm pretty sure ill turn a CBR into a monkey bike.

  • Im sorry but i wouldn't recommend the cbr125 for you.I am 6"1 and i looked stupid on it. Go for an aprilia rs125 or a yzfr-125. Both are bigger bikes. I have a cbr600 now but when i had the 125 it pulled well enough to 50mph but after that you had to redline the shit out of it to get to 60mph. I weigh about 13 stone. Hope this helps

  • let me guess - Road Positioning?

  • 60mph? ive got a blue honda cbr 125 2005 with a micron exhaust on it and get 80mph? but i think cbrs have restirictos as mine wont rev higher than 8500 and just sits there at 80mph, prob a rev limitor

  • hondas r great realibel bikes but the cbr 125 sucks big time its inbarsely slow and sounds pathetic okay 4 a person who isint botherd abt speed a suppose also it struggels up banks me ad go 4 a 2 stroke 125 as they r faster n lighter :) i do like 4 strokes better but 4 a road legal 125 u wana 2 stroke 4 motox defo a 4 :)

  • @EUMP Varadero is the way,im 6'2 and feel fine on it.

  • Leave some of those keys at home and your bike will be lighter.
