This is a very short video to show how I purl two colours, one in each hand.
The right hand throws in the usual English 'lever' style (I have another video showing me ribbing English style). The yarn on the left passes through a safety pin attached to my clothes near my left shoulder. It is tensioned with my left hand and at the beginning of the video you can see it threaded over my middle finger. This allows it to pass through with enough tension. My left thumb flicks the tensioned yarn over the needle and the stitch is completed with the needle in the usual way.
