Our country was built upon Christianity. We do not keep out those who think different. We welcome all people and their beliefs. Coming here or believing other than beliefs of Christianity are accepted. Your voice is free to be heard. However, removing the freedom of people to pray or practice their belief in a public place of any type is Completely Wrong!!! You are welcome to believe what you like but not to take away from people that believe differently.

Why are those "of faith" the only ones with sensitivity? Why are those such as Odone the only ones with thoughts? The believers are the ones who threaten hell and damnation. Secularists have never burnt,lashed or beheaded for the sake of their beliefs. I cannot knock on peoples' doors and tell them to stop believing that they are God's chosen race or that they must contribute towards fascist bishops.Odone's description of Russell as a militant atheist was vile.

You are right. It's the devout christians: Blair and Bush who invaded Iraq. Secularism is the way forward.Odone is a catholic fundie.

Are the secularists bombing blowing up trains, planes, vehicles? Are they blowing up entire villages in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine? Do they wear military uniforms and use high-tech weapons paid for with taxpayers' money, money that could be better spent on the war on intolerance that Christine Odone called for? Are those rhetorical questions? Why, yes.
