This piece I began learning years ago with my last teacher Peter Tarsio and I finished it with the gracious help of Alexandria Le, a doctoral student in piano at Stony Brook University. It is a soulful piece furnished with the technical and poetic beauties that inevitably comprise the best of Lisztian repertoire. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed learning it. Any comments or criticisms are welcome and invited.

  • @AnaSolavideos Thank you Ana. I have been very fortunate in my life. You are quite an intriguing person as well. I hope your current boyfriend appreciates you for who you are. It is quite apparent that you have much love to give! :-)

  • thanks for all the nice comments. I really appreciate it..

  • Yes many things were tricky about this piece, but again the harder the task I am presented with, the greater the enjoyment will be when I complete it. Bring on the challenges of life!

  • Thanks John. This piece was very difficult for me to learn, but I enjoyed every bit of it. Yes I was definitely attracted to it's contemplative and musing nature. It reminds me of a quote "True love must be unfulfilled love."

  • Gracias por su comentario. Esto es uno de mis piezas mas favoritos. Gracias!

  • not being a piano player myself, it's hard to tell what were the hardest parts, but the section around 2:37 looks like it might be a bit tricky, and the constant switching between hands with the melody seems like it may be tough to do while keeping the correct timing... also the tempo switches abruptly in some of the middle parts which seems also like it took a good amount of practice

  • It makes me think of spring, or being in love. One or both of those two things.

  • muy buena interpretacion maestoso danilo.
