The third stop of the Pufferfish Surf Series will go down as one of the best contests ever at Pine Trees! When we arrived on Kauai on Friday the 13th, the conditions were as bad as it gets! Giant closeouts and 40 mile per hour devil winds left us thinking Saturday was not going to happen. When we arrived on the beach in the morning we were greeted with super glassy 4 ft peeks and over 120 competitors waiting to sign up in the dark! It was on! We finally got everything set-up and with the sunlight coming up we threw the Groms in the water and got the day moving.
