I live in athens, i didn't get hit but my homeboy lives on that road you said they weren't letting anyone go down did, across from that demolished trailer park my uncle lives in, his house and whole neighborhood is gone, lots and lots of people died in this
Wow, if this is Hwy 31, I drive through this area very often from Harvest, AL (where I live) to Tanner, AL to get to Calhoun. Once the school opens up, I'll probably have to drive through and see all this. I think I know where all those places are too. This is horrible! I hope everyone there is ok! God bless you all!
@zpb52 What irony? We were going to check on family members that couldn't be reached! No cell service, no land lines, no electricity! This is the only road that crosses the Tennessee River from Morgan County to Limestone County! If YOU had family that couldn't be reached, wouldn't you go check on them?

this just makes me like I want to cry...
Im currently living in mexico right now...but my mom and my sister still lived in that trailer park ...and to watch this and think...
my house use to be right there :( and the place where I grew up its completely gone and destroyed :'(
