  • My wife begged me to buy an Airstream. I hated the storage on them and hated the price. That was 3 years ago, Oh my god, I have fallen in love. I changed my mind when I had to do a sudden evasive turn and then zig zag down a steep hill. The freaking Airstream hunkered down like a Porche and we escaped with our lives. I love my Airstream.

  • I just took apart a 1959 Traveler. They are considerably better built now than then and this one held up for 50 years over thousands of miles. There are no leaks and only the part of the floor where the old ice box leaked is bad, so I am removing the body to replace the super one piece preformed precision cut plywood. This video was a lot of help in showing me how to put the thing back together. I'd like to find one of those disco dudes to give me a hand.

  • What I like is Wally Byam's philosophy "Never make changes, always make improvements." The meaning, I suspect is "never make changes unless it's necessary to improve the product." I like that.

  • Very interesting! Enjoyed learning about how the Airstream is made! Thanks!

"Cold rolled tempered high strength super quality finished aluminum"

    Yeah baby!!

  • It's nice to see some things are still made here in the USA. It's also nice to see some things are made entirely by hand instead of all being made by robots. Why aren't most RVs built as good as Airstream?

  • This an excellent video about Airstream trailers, very informative.

     Long live Wally!!
