K, 1st of all, the 7 Jesuits were not shot, technically speaking they were assassinated by the El Salvador's armed forces. The U.S. threatened pulling all support for the ES government and in an intent to regain that support back, the government plotted against that assassination making it look like if the guerrilla did, by using AK-47.
Unfortunately the ES government lead by ARENA has committed the worst criminal acts against its citizens, not even compared to Hitler's IMO.
