These are my KKIS Airchecks from Spring and Summer of 1985. I had the third-highest ratings in Contra Costa County for my evening shift and in some demographics, had better numbers than many other Bay Area stations. Our FM was 92.1 KINQ, licensed to Walnut Creek and it was automated at the time. I did shows there in 1990-1991 when the calls were changed to KKIS-FM and the station was live. I'll post those airchecks too.
@baysadaye I'll get some more stuff uploaded soon. I used to have a tape of Doug Wulff on KKIS (Now co-owner of KRVR-Modesto) with those "Your kind of station" jingles but it was misplaced somewhere. Unfortunately unscoped airchecks will only last 10 minutes. If I could store an hour somewhere, I would.

@baysadaye I was there in 1985, just after the "Your kind of station" logo. I'll have to put some more stuff in there.

i used to hang around when KKIS was in "The Willows" Shopping Center, and was featured on "Your Kind Of People" in 1983. Would love to hear more.
