anti muslim you idiot
THIS MOVIE WAS BASED ON TRUE STORY
and plus Iranians are agianst the stonning the woman because its not in their culture our culture praise the women but Muslims dont
-
I just want to add that thinking about that God will forgive you prior to sinning will make a small sin a very big one,
-
@valcobi nono of course not. I am totally against killing other human beings. Everyone sins. In fact God says if you human kind would not have sinned I would have removed you from the face of earth and would have created new human beings who will sin and then ask me for forgiveness because God wants us to ask him for forgiveness, he is the all mercifull. But it's movies like that, that pull Islam into the dirt. Evryone has the right to live according to what he think is the right way.

are u saying this is ok to u?
-
why? because he said the truth? Are u one of those who believe in stoning too?
-
Men are also get stoned...... if a married woman or man fornicate outside the bound of marriage he?she get stoned, at least it'd kill the temptation of having sex other than your husband.....or wife, FYI... this command was descendant from allah, and prophet Muhammed only stoned those who wanted repent and forgiveness of god...

this movie made me cry like a baby. sooo sad.
the movie is not anti-muslim, anti-Iranian, etc.
rather it's anti-misogyny, anti-shariah, anti-perversion of faith, anti-violence against women, anti-oppression. pro-equal rights, pro-justice.
i hope many realize the difference between faith, culture, tradition and the perversions of such.
so many muslims and/or iraninans are just as much against stoning, shariah courts, bombings, etc. - it's the overly simplistic deductive reasoning and sweeping generalization that makes us ignorant.

This is the most intense movie I've ever seen. Thank you to Netflix for putting it on instant access. This past summer, I spent the summer in Toronto and lived with a Persian Christian couple. This couple and the other Iranians I met were the most hospitable people I've ever been around. They were also so sad about what continues to happen in Iran. I think the Iranian people are stunning in their resilience, and the women most of all.
