    Although the idea is brilliant.... I hope you are not telling me you've made this bag to save trash from grocery bags and then used the buckles from the bag from Goodwill ....... and then threw that bag away!????

    I assumed he made it because it was less expensive than either: buying the plastic sheetings, or buying a new messenger bag itself. It's true that buying and then dumping is a waste, but if it was at Goodwill, it might have just been thrown away after a while (they do that here).
