Greetings...

- Perhaps a year had passed since my last video...many ideas come all over my head, but I was out of time because of my career... I will try to express all those ideas in time...and today I share with you one of those ideas....

Jóhann Jóhannsson is an Icelandic musician, composer, producer and an active member of the countrys artistic community (as the founder of the Kitchen Motors label / think tank / art collective, founder member of Apparat Organ Quartet and also as a serial collaborator).

The song I present to you belongs to the album "And In The Endless Pause There Came The Sound Of Bees" , an album that deserve to be listen... two words came to my mind when I listen this album for the first time... " Rise and Fall" from a City...

Perhaps you might find my video out from the basic idea [Rise & Fall]...and I wouldn't blame you, is just that when I first listen this specific song ... "City Building" I picture myself at the top of some building on some grey and cold day...one of those days when you just stare at the sky and you feel bare and embrace... One of those days, when the cold is enought to ease you and the grey sky mesmerize your heart and you just.... give in.

..."Death has a Beautiful side....But it's more hard to see!!"

Hope you like the video...Regards.

  • Nice movie, I like that you've used "Kids Story" from Animatrix so much. It's an amazing move aswell.

  • @Rax1x

Thanks to you, for taking some time for watch it...

I really like the Animatrix, and I was captivate by that specific scene... since a long time I want it to make a video with that scene, but I couldn't find the right song.... until now...

  • Hello Mathew, my name is Mathew too. Spelled just the same.

I have met several dozen Matthew's in my life, maybe even 100 thanks to the internet, but only two other Mathew's with one t. Though I have not sought out anyone based on the similarity, it is a pleasure to find another person with our unique spelling of the name.

Thank you for the video. I am listening to Johann's works after not having done so for over 5 years. I recognize the video from Animatrix as well. Good stuff. Take care Mathew
