It's not about "when" you have time, make it. Sit down, turn off your phone and seriously read through Nehemiah 9. Those people were pouring out their souls to God and they were confessing some serious stuff. In a way, they weren't content with letting camp stay at camp. They were taught a powerful lesson and now they owned up to their part in fixing it.
In the end (9:38), they obviously meant business by signing an agreement or covenant between themselves and God. What would have happened had they just said it and not signed it? Probably the same thing that happens to us when we make promises or commitments. It sounds nice, but rare is the person who will actually follow through with it.
