if we get technical with the debate on if is correct to use water or not over the floors, i will recommend a dumped mop only, because no matter how ggod the sealing is done water find it's way to the small gaps and you will notice with time that boards will start cupping anyway.

I don't use a broom on my hard wood. I use swiffer. you should use that too..

You should not use water on a hardwood floor even if it is finished properly. Always use a hardwood floor cleaner. You are correct in saying to dust mop the floor frequently. The Oil modified finishes on the market today do not react well to water.

are you serious? I just poor honey on my floor then a layer of glue on top let it dry tehn peel it off. you must wast alot of time cleaning. remember: honey, glue, dry, peel off. P.s I AM NOT IN ANY WAY REFERING TO YOU AS HONEY. dont get any ideas.
