I'm a huge Cowboys fan, but that Eagles defense was tremendous ... I believe they were No. 1 against the run, the pass and No. 1 overall that season. Without injured Randall Cunningham, though, their offense struggled.

Well, that was a talented d-line he played on, himself included, and Olsen is right; the pressure created by the other linemen created the hole for him to get to Aikman. But the Simms sack was him picking up the slack for Reggie White. C'mon Madden, White didn't pressure Simms; he gave him a womanly tap. Golic made up for this failure.

man the Eagles had a MONSTER D-LINE! Reggie White #92, Jerome Brown #99, Clyde Simmons #96, and Mike Golic #90. the linebackers almost don't even have to blitz. they can just drop back into coverage.
-
Duh! Because Reggie White totally man-handled Nate Newton and drove him into Aikman who stepped up where Golic is. Watch football much?

I love how Golic gets the sack and they throw up Reggie White's carrer stats. The offensive line was blinded by the greatness of Reggie White and Golic gets the sack.
