Las dos mejore selecciones de todos los tiempos. Alemania y Brasil. La alegria del fútbol son los goles y estos equipos en mundiales se han dedicado a eso a jugar y a anotar, a darle el sentido de la alegría al fútbol. Estos dos equipos cuando han ganado un mundial jamás lo haan hecho escondidos, agazapados y jugando al antifutbol. No cabe duda que estas dos selecciones son las que mejor han jugado al futbol a lo largo de la historia.

@PrZemek44 true that Italy and Brazil are the best and it also true that Italian players on that goal were just waiting for the game to end. They werer losing by 3-1 with 4 minutes left in the game and feeling as tired as they were they just knew there was no way they were going to get two goals.Brazil could have had a 5th because Italy even commited a penalty in the last minute.

@jimrovisson Germany were lucky to beat England in 1970. England scored in the 90th minute for a 3-2 win, but it was wrongly disallowed for offside.

@Mr6292 I agree with you, but when a match takes place we should have other facts in mind as well. One of them is when a team is too exhausted from a previus match and cannot give 100% in the next. So we see Germany having such a match -quarterfinal with England, and Italy having an extremely breathtaking match wich took everything they had to win. That's why they resisten only in the first half in the final. Who knows? Maybe with both of them fresh the match would be a little different :)

@jimrovisson Sorry, I always thought the team that should make it to the final is the one that wins a semi-final. Italy 4-3 West Germany, was the result in 1970, possibly one of the the finest and most exciting games I have ever seen, as West Germany v France semi in 1982 is also up there with the best. As for the best team, I have never seen a better side than Brazil in 1970, although Brazil 1982 came close, with some Italian revenge, beating them 3-2 in the second round.

@DocFernandez With all respect for the Germans. They had their chance to meet Brazil in the final. All they had to do was to beat Italy... :) The final would've been much closer if not for the altitude. Brazilians played in those conditions all tournament, Italians didn't. At the end, barely walked (watch Carlos Alberto goal, they were standing around). Brazi and Italy, two best teams in football's history!
