  • not to be mean, but look it up... or just look at the picture on the back of an estes rocket motor(or manual, i saw it somewhere...)

    errr... whatever.. ill tell you..

    at the top of the motor, right above the solid fuel, there is about one half inch of slow burning fuel. it burns anywhere between 1 and 20 seconds. on top of that, is a gunpowder charge that is more inside the body of the rocket than the motor. it explodes, presurizing the rocket, and makes the nose pop off releasing the chute

  • How do you make the rocket let loose the parachute at the end of it's fuel?
