@phase901 yep they are braindead mate, its a loop of about 5 secs recorded by John Bonham, how can sound levels or hi hats be off if they arent in the original, because for all intents and purposes this is a loop of the original
-
@johnjjrjr well you should have said the sound level if thats what you meant, although you would still be wrong, levels are exact all the way through cos its a loop of 5 secs worth of audio, how could the levels be off?
-
to those of you with terrible ears listen to stymiepop's loop. Now that is what the hi-hat does and should sound like. tell me you dont hear every 1/8 note clearly. When Jimmy Page produced the albums he influenced the hi-hat sound because it was so good and crisp. I rest my case.

All right let me clarify the hi-hat is off. I meant the sound level is off. I think it should be hit at the same hardness every 1/8 note when playing the foot at a 16th note. Now Jimmy Page produced most of there albums and he with a mixing board adjusted the sounds when recording. He could and I'm sure Jon Bonham as well turned any of the toms, hi-hat,snare, or foot bass to different sound levels. All of his instuments had a mic. The snare is the only drum instrument close to the hi-hat's freq.

@funtimecamo OK but I don't get these comments saying the high-hat is off then the other guy sayd it's dean-on - WTF r they talking about this is the original recording right ??? Sof course it's dead on that's John Bonham playing r these people brain-dead or what ?!?!?!? lol
funtimecamo, did you listen to stymiepop's loop? listen then respond but also make sure you clean your ears out first. Now there is nothing wrong with your video or should I say recording. The sound level of the hi-hay is wrong thats all. I can tell you for a fact that Jon B did not hit the hi-hat at different hardnesses. He used heavy sticks for A REASON so that they always sounded the same. If the sound level of the hi-hat was changed it was after the intial recording.

@johnjjrjr oh man what part of its a loop of about 5 secs do you not understand?? The loop is FROM THE ORIGINAL TRACK, there is no discrepancy and it is in your head, do you understand?

I could listen to this all day.
One thing, though. It should fade out, not end abruptly.

@BloodyBrain4 I provided a loop for people to record over, if I had made it fade out then they would have had to loop the track themselves further to edit out the fade, then what would be the point?
