Roller Coaster Accident in Germany

The driver of each kart has control of their own speed on the track. A child had stopped 2 karts ahead because an older couple in front were traveling slow. The child wanted to go faster, so she stopped and waited for the track to clear. Most of the momentum transferred to the second kart where on sudden impact with the third kart caused serious injuries to the occupants. The ride was quickly re-opened to the public without safety review. There were no 'children must be accompanied by an adult' restrictions, no weight restrictions, and no safety cameras on the track. We had to stop people colliding with the accident scene as the operator continued to send karts down the track.

I suppose the next thing to ask would be "why were you filming?". The accident wasn't meant to happen, we were messing around screaming at the start till the kart got faster.

That´s not a roller coaster but what we call a "Sommerrodelbahn" (some kind of dry toboggan run).

The Rhönbob is pretty fun to ride but there always the risk of running into idiots who are too stupid or too scared to go faster (you can reach up to 40kmh/25mph there).
