Otterbein University English faculty member Tammy Birk speaks about Paul Hornschemeier's book "Mother, Come Home."

This talk is part of the Big Picture series, a collaboration between Columbus Museum of Art and the Humanities Institute at The Ohio State University.

The program is part of the 2012 Graphic Novelist Residency, a new program designed to give a graphic novelist time to develop a work-in-progress. The residency is hosted by Columbus Museum of Art and Thurber House. Support for the program comes from a grant by the Greater Columbus Arts Council.

Paul Hornschemeier is the residency's first recipient.

This program was held in the Innovation Lab, part of CMA's Center for Creativity.
