I was at this show. I went in as a huge AIC fan who didn't think they would be very good live after having seen them with Layne a few times. I left completely addicted to them the way I was during their prime.

Duvall doesn't get even close to the credit he deserves. Sure, he's not Layne. But he has just as much emotion and energy, and he is an amazing singer. He tore the house down in Salem that night.

Jerry wrote this song, Jerry makes the most writing and music for the band, But Layne did a lot of good writing for the band he wrote man in the box and he wrote pretty much the whole jar of flies ep and the whole alice in chains record, so he was more than just the vocalist, but he passed away and Duvall is not Layne and no one will ever be like him but the band really must move on they are doing great
