I think this is a much better movie than some critics paint it to be. It is a formidable combination of Steinbeck, Kazan, Brando, Quinn AND a fine cast. As for Jean Peters, the more I look at her, the more convinced I become that she was even more beautiful than she looked on the screen. Both physically and in spirit.

La acabo de ver y no me gusto la gran distorsión de la historia , Zapata no necesita a Hollywood para ser grande pero es triste que en México no se haya echo una película de gran calidad sobre uno de nuestros héroes mas puros Viva Zapata!!!!!!!!

holy shit. as much as i like Marlon Brando, this movie looks like a pile of shit.... and mildly offensive. is this movie really as shitty as the trailer makes it out to be?

Listen up gringos,pochos, chicanos, if you want a real Mexican revolution Zapata movie that will have a grapple on you from start to finish I suggest u look for Antonio Aguilar in Emiliano Zapata Thats the best ive seen!
