i havent played the xbox 360 version only the ps3 but for eye candy go for the next gen version but for pure playability i would say the ps2 versions slightly edges it ie the games feels slightly looser on the ps2 and smoother.

Claiming that PS3 and PS2 versions are "identical" or "using the same code" is a pretty laughable statement from a computer programming standpoint, they're different games developed by different teams (they just share the producer) and the PS2 version is far better gameplay-wise.
