  • this is my brother airman ben davis,s squad at qc airshow 06 he helped set it up to get them there flying out of sioux city ia he was in the croud that day good job guys

  • The E models with the JT-3D's that came off of the retired 707/720B airliners are not that noisy when compared to the original A models with the water injected straight jets, talk about noisy airplanes. Are any E models now being flown?

  • i may be jobshadowing a pilot of the Souix City air gaurd. hope so :D

  • i think they still have some e model tankers on the base here in sioux city but they dont fly em anymore since they got the r model idk if they could retrofit them with the r model engines or not to make em flyable again but they just wouldnt look as nice with those huge engines on em in my opinion i like the slimmer 707 engines even if they do produce less thrust and alot more noise than the newer kc-135r's

  • Love the E-models... may they rest in peace.

  • whoo my hometown ANG wing dang cant beleive i missed that. and with the old 707 engines on it too im gonna be kicking myself for leaving so early.
