@biglinguist Yes, it is an exceptionally well done video, unlike most since that era, which insists on showing unrelated items (like crowd movement) and improperly angled items (like showing only one backup vocalist while 3 guys are singing together).

@huskyjerk Yeah, I hadn't really thought about it until reading your comment. A few things that help: the lighting is interesting (good shadows!), they're not afraid of having the camera appear in the shot, and the director/switcher understands the structure of the song (knows where to focus and when).

I was only a year old when this aired but grew up listening to this band, thanks to my rockin parents. Eric's vocals are just over the top insanely cool and thank god this is what he wanted to do with his life---this made me a stronger person growing up listening to this stuff. Anytime my mental goes into overdrive with all of the BS I have to deal with sometimes everyday, all I have to do is crank up The Animals and life is good again and the BS disappears.
