Kramnik has the rheumatic disease Ankylosing Spondylitis, which caused him to drop out of Wijk aan Zee 2006. That problem is under control nowadays according to the man himself.

Both Anand and Kramnik are exceptional players, both have truly deserved the World Champion title. I think, however, that Kramnik's disease may take a bit out of him eventually, maybe when facing Anand later this year. Either way, these two have already made history.

It would be a very interesting clash between anand - kramnik ...both gr8 players...Anand can play very brilliant to poor ...Kramnik is more consistent ...I would say Kramnik has a slight edge on this one ...depends on which Anand shows up too...I doubt if Anand can be consistent over a 12 game period
