There are 295,000 miles of gas Transmission pipelines in the US; and over 1,900,000 miles of Natural Gas Distribution pipelines.

There are 109 LNG "peak shaving" gas staorage plants in the US right now, many have been operating since the 1970's without incident.

LNG peak shaving plants are connected to our natural gas transmission and distribution systems.

In LNGs 45 year shipping history, LNG ships have traveled more than 100 million miles without a single major incident.

I am a marine engineer. I work on LNG ships. LNG is not very volatile. LNG is all around better for the environment when compared to any other crude product. It is cheaper. I believe there should be standardized testing for protesters before they are allowed to protest. People need to research what they are fighting against. There are a plethora of publications on the subject. It seems no one in this video knows how to debate. Don't shoot your mouth off if you don't know anything.

Of course it have to come from somewhere.... but why does it have to be something which pollutes^? Or something which will enable or even strenghten the "same old powers"? to have control on it? Why are we still arguing about fossile fuels and nobody talks about renewable sources of energie?

You should look up the term "toxic". We breathe in CO2 all the time and it doesn't hurt us. Too much of it merely displaces O2 as it is heavier than air. We only use 4% of the 21% O2 we take in of every breathe. CO2 flows in our bloodstream where capillaries transfer it to our lungs via the aveoli for us to exhale. It is not toxic however (although CO is). So many of your type like complain with no solutions. Do you think your computer runs on hopes and dreams? Electricity comes from somewhere.

Right...CO2 is what we breath out..and guess why we breath it OUT instead of IN? Maybe because is toxic for the human body? Sure, CO2 is processe by plants to give us oxigen, but an excessive presence of CO2 in the atmosphere is like breathing from an exausting pipe. Why don't you try it with your car and see if is good for your lungs... Than "maybe" i will shut up. I do not care if the toxic comes from the gas or from impurities..the product of the burnts is still toxic dude!

So sad when the uneducated try to think, isn't it flouride? Poor mitch here doesn't realize he fart natural gas every day, and that methane unburnt is more of a greenhouse gas than the CO2 it would emmit if it was cleanly burned. I do despise a battle of wits with an unarmed person, it's just not fair!

It's sad when people open their mouths before they know what they are talking about. Lets go back to 9th grade chemistry. When burning a hydrocarbon, the exothermic reaction will produce CO2 and H2O (in case you lost me, CO2 is what you breath out, and the other is water!). Other emmissions come from impurities in the fuel, or incomplete combustion. Methane (90+% of LNG) is the cleaning burning substance know to mankind. Look is up. And if you say CO2 is bad, do us all a favor and stop breathing
