Yes, pastoroso777, it WAS Handel's Messiah. The Hallelujah Chorus is part of the Easter section of that oratorio.

poor Olde Handel is rolling over in His grave... what a disaster

Thank you.

Are you laughing at the foolishness of what happened to the actor or at his nice butt. Which gave the reason for many negative comments as we can see listed below. God will judge both sinners (Great White Throne) and believers (the Judgment Seat of Christ) for our works. Why join in laughing at our Savior as displayed in this video with the world, brother Mike?

Nice butt, Jesus! LOL!

@pastoroso777 Your story put a smile on my face :) Merry Christmas!

Hahaha... Crazy...
(cont) I heard the laughter and peeked out the curtain, only to see his backside go by. I reached out to grab and stop him but couldn't get him, and finally the guys on the lights (who were doubled over laughing) blacked the lights out. I'm telling you, the crowd was laughing for a good 5 minutes... even our pastor came on stage and doubled over. BUT, more people responded that night to the message of the program than on any other night. God has a great sense of humor.

This was actually a large church in Clearwater, FL and this happened back in the late 90's... how do I know? I was the one who put "Jesus" in the harness behind that curtain. This wasn't Handel's Messiah either, it was the end of our Easter production. What happened was that we had changed the rigging wires prior to the performance, had tested it out, and all was fine.
