  • Wow I am glad I'm Norwegian and got Torstein B. Høverstad's version when I started listening to Harry Potter. I got sick, however, by the lame translations:p I remember giving Jim Dale a chance, but nothing can compare to Stephen Fry! :)

  • i love Dale's version much more than the one by Fry. Fry is a great reader, but Dale is the best for me. |;-))

jag har hört Høverstad's version, kunde förstå inte mycket men jag gillar det också.)))

  • i thought that was well intresting, tho i thought the swedish one could have had a bit more emphasis tho X)

  • yeah, it was the reason why i posted this. So great contrast between how all this people read Snape's line.

  • The German reader has a heavy accent! Who is this?? I almost didn't recognize my native language! :-)

  • @543Sun das ist aus dem vierten buch, oder nicht? also nicht soo früh. aber bei dem satz ist der akzent wirklich sehr stark.

  • @hannah1111100

Das ist, wenn ich mich nicht irre noch eines von den älteren (verbessere mich, wenn cih falsch bin), da haben die Stimmen im algemeinen noch sehr übertrieben geklungen

  • I love Rufus Becks version, mostly because I grew up with it. I listened to the Harry Potter audiobook while tyding up my room, while cleaing, while sitting in the car, at bedtime. I listened to them over and over again.

And if I did not, I was reading the books :D

  • Interesting, that mostly males are reading...

I´ve also heard the chinese version once, a woman reading, but without much change between normal passages and people talking. I love it, that for example Dale and Beck change voices ^^ so nice to listen.

  • @Julikachen rufus beck. ich hätt's auch fast nicht erkannt. normal ist snapes akzent aber nicht so stark.

  • Thumbs up for Stephen Fry.

  • Wow! I think I like the Dutch one best. Hahaha.

  • I liked the French and, strangely, Jim Dale's version--even though I didn't like his version when I tried OotP. Weird, that.

  • I love so much French audioversions

  • @Yonnoi Yeh, I guess Fry won in my book because that's what I first heard.. :p But Dale reading lord of the rings is just amazing! :)
