I have no opinion until I've read it.

The book is soliciting criminal activity.
Solicitation, which is illegal, can be implied by ones conduct where a person either requests or encourages criminal activity.........Writing a "guide" to show how people can commit a crime is an act of solicitation because it is "encouraging" criminal activity. Thus, the book should NOT be protected.
e.g. if it was illegal to make a bomb, selling a book showing how to not get caught making the bomb is encouraging bomb making.

Good post, but consider this, within just a few miles of you right now, there are several registered sex offenders. Even more that aren't. The audience for this "book" are devious and compulsive. Giving them advice on the "proper" way to carry out their compulsive fantasies is outrageous. Should this book be protected by the 1st Amendment? -No.

Well said!
I appreciate your rational response to this issue.
I have read a few excerpts, and I assert that the book should be protected under the first amendment.
There are countless rap and rock songs out there which explicitly describe and advocate violent actions like rape, murder, and assault, yet we don't say 'ban the song' when a fan mimics the behaviors described in said songs.
Just sayin'.

@maradashewolf For me, I don't think it should be "banned" or "censored" merely because I don't like it. To be clear, I think that those who decide these things (legally speaking) should debate whether or not it passes the "imminent lawless action" test and if it's legal, so be it, and it's protected. If it's not legal, however, then it needs to be removed.
From a business standpoint, I think Amazon should remove ANY product of seriously questionable legality until that question is resolved.
