1) Where did Jesus give instructions that the Christian faith should be based exclusively on a book? 2) Other than the specific command to John to pen the Revelation, where did Jesus tell His apostles to write anything down and compile it into an authoritative book? 3) Where in the New Testament do the apostles tell future generations that the Christian faith will be based solely on a book?

@mpenaco look closely. that is not a rebuke. He says that ALL who hear the word of God are blessed (saying not only Mary is, but she is as well). Who was FIRST to hear the Word and belive and observe it? Mary. "Hail, Full of Grace! The Lord is With Thee!" "The Holy Spirit will overshadow you!" "Blessed are you among women!" "Blessed are you who beleived!" "All nations shall call me blessed!" "Behold, i am the handmaiden of the Lord!" "Mary kept all these things in her heart" etc.

@mpenaco In addition to that; by your comment about "sleeping" You again are only "cherry picking" out part of the passage in 1 Cor 23-you have to go back to before that to get it into the context in which Christ was speaking-He is speaking about how by man came death and by man the resurrection of the dead. We don't die when we go to heaven-our souls are not sleep. Are you 7th day adventist? Because their origin started with a man that is not Christ in 1863...sounds like satan to me.

You can't stay on one argument at a time because you can't argue it further than you have-once scripture contradicts you-you move one-we call that "shot gunning" your opponent. Reality is your argument has no merit-you misquote scripture. Matthew 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself: how then shall his kingdom stand? Jesus Christ said that btw.

You quoted Christ's statement that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church and yet you haven't even noticed that your church has already become Satan's synagogue promoting evil man-made doctrines and harboring child molesters and homosexual priests. God rained fire on Sodom for this offense and your church is trying to hide it.

"While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed." But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it." (Lk. 11:27-28)

Sorry, but if u actually think that.ours is the only church that's got pedifiles who infiltrated it, your very nieve. The protestant church has coverups that rival the Catholics. Christ said the gates of hell would not prevail, which means there would be attacks from within and out; we've had our share of turbulence, but we're over 2000 years strong. Because God's church is protected from destruction. Humans sin and make mistakes, which is who makeup all churches. Cast Ye the first stone.

"For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming" (1 Cor. 15:22-23)

Sorry my friend, your Mary is still asleep and cannot hear or respond to your petitions. But don't worry, there's good news: she will be raised at Jesus' coming. So stop calling her because she can't hear you.
