@eliemotorsports Just a thought was it fitted to the front axle or rear? As I,m sure you know that the self locking diff can only be fitted to the rear.

That is one sure way of breaking your diff, you need to invest in some diff lockers, you would put a lot less strain on your transmition and you would have pissed that climb, I rate the detroit rear locking diff and a limited slip unit in the front.

@offroadell you are right , this defender is for my friend . i think a detroit locker is not a good solution because it is too bad on the tarmac , i think the best solution is ARB air locker , that u can turn on upon request !

@eliemotorsports Hi Honestly, you can't tell that the detroit locker is fitted, I fitted it my self preloading all the bearings as in instructions and it was well behaved in all conditions. Have you had a bad experience with one?

@offroadell i didnt have problems but a friend installed a detroit locker on a wrangler Tj, the car have a bad response on the corner , it is like :steering by force .
