the only thing largely different is that its some sort of an alzheimers disease cure that makes the ape intelligent and in the original it was from the parents time traveling back to the present

@TheRydog100 i just read the plot for the new movie..it is quite similar. both apes have the name caesar.both ceasars make the apes rebel.
