I have watched the film.. besides when the film was released it was commercial failure and a big flop, it gained popularity very late.. the movie is absolutely ridiculous first it is too slow and second I would repeat that "nobody looked behind the posters for 20 long years".. are you serious?? they trashed his room several times but yeah they left the poster spic and span... doesnt make sense to me..

in shawshank redemption he is in jail because supposedly he killed his wife.. which is not happening in this movie. anyways shawshank redemption was stupid, nobody looked behind the poster for 20 years?? wow i dont think a movie can get more stupid than shawshank redemption

Shawshank is rated in the top 100 movies of all time man. It can't be that bad. not looking behind a poster is believable.... why look?
