@TheMercenary I agree with that, specially since Chono and Muta are World Champions in WCW (when the golden belt was the NWA World title). But the idea comes from New Japan, when Chono tried to recruit both Muta and his alter ego, Keiji Mutoh. Eventually, Chono-san succeeded.

@TheDragonCult the were put in nwo simpply to promote nwo in Japan.... they had their own nwo there.... the main difference being that they knew to keep it a small group

I think it was a great idea to add Muta to the nWo, but they should have gave him better opponents..same for Chono..Hogan could have introduced Muta as his insurance policy against Sting

Muta being in NWO was such a waste. NWO hardly had any opponents. Imagine Muta against Scott Steiner or Scott Norton, or another match against Hogan - that's main event material.
