@omnipotentte rios estuvo mucho menos tiempo en el circuito, rios fue el numero uno del mundo, rios hizo lo que tenia que hacer para ser numero uno del mundo sin grand slams es cierto, pero lo fue, y lo que siempre les doelra a los argentinos que vilas gano todo pero no fue el mejor de todos, rios gano menos y fue el mejor de todos asi de simple.

I heard that claim before... that somehow Becker would have beaten Chang. Pretty empty claim (though not as bad as calling Edberg's loss "pathetic") considering Chang also eliminated Lendl in the previous round - a player that was far, far stronger on clay than either Becker or Edberg.
Oh, and btw, what you cant do effectively on clay is play at the net. That is the common thread between Becker, Sampras, Edberg, and all other volleyers who struggled with the French.

@ManiPulatoR84 yeah becker sucked on clay cuz he couldnt bully ppl w/ his power (like sampras)... i think becker won 0 clay tournaments and sampras 1 (against becker), but i could be wrong; having said all that, becker shouldve beaten edberg in the french '89 semis, he was up 3-1 in the 5th, fell down and wasnt the same after that... if he won that match, i doubt he wouldve lost to chang (like edberg pathetically did)... but im not sure id want becker to win the french, in fact, i know i dont
