I don't get why some people who are not millionaire would waste their money to buy high price VST like Ivory Grand Piano or other expensive VST when they can create just as good a song with this plug-in that comes free if you buy Sonar 8 Producer for $500. This VST is worth like $250 alone. And tons of other sound of all genre. And a good song means good melody which comes from your mind. If your not creative than wasting thousands of dollars won't help. This is much better than the 90s.

@2012nimrod The easiest way to get to a new patch would be to assign preset changes on your USB controller keyboard...That's what I do anyway..

@scott93257 is there a way to quickly go to next patch. The workflow right now is so shitty cheers

If anyone finds some really cool pro-sounding expansion packs for Dimension Pro please PM me.

@PCGamesClassic I'm not trying to be a smart ass either, and I agree there are newer libraries, and there are always more libraries for Dim. Pro itself. But to say it's horrible, you have to be a little biased or pissed by something, or someone by Cake. It's not the "only" synth out there, I was just taken back at the horrible comment. It's not the only thing I use obviously. We'll leave it at that, and agree to disagree, this America right?

look, i'm not trying to sound like an ''smartass'' or something like that, i'm just saying that nowadays there are so many libraries that are much more realistic than this dimension pro
and yes, you can do a lot of things with it, BUT, when it comes to get a realistic sound for make a song, this fails, ex: that acoustic steel guitar, sounds very fake, go hear the Ilya efimov steel guitar and then tell me....

@PCGamesClassic By here do you mean this video, or Dim. Pro itself? You're saying people that make a living producing, creating, and working with synths are less knowledgeable than you? Is your ear golden, the majority seem to think different, if you think I buy something based just awards, or media, you're mistaken, I use it because it is 1 of the best synths out there! Even if you disagree a little, to say it's horrible or plastic, hell man, try moving those slider thingys, dial thingys, sad!

yeah i have it, but the fact that ''it have awards'' doesn't mean anything, all of this are for publish it as good stuff, nowadays there's a ton of libraries that leaves dimension pro in the status of a joke...
plus, all the sounds here are horribly, all with 1 layer of samples and sounds very plastic...

@PCGamesClassic You can't be serious, really, I'm not kidding, do you have it? It has won awards upon awards, so somebody is off here? I owned Sonar 8.5.3 PE then upgraded to X1, if you break down what you get in those packages, you would be looking at over a $1,000 worth of just plugins alone, not mentioning....nevermind, not worth my time! 1 more Rapture LE!, I could go on, c'mon man!
Is this plugin available for free?
And do you know some others plugins for trance music?

@plaszczka1 Dimension Pro is available for purchase on the Cakewalk E-Store. Z3TA+ & Rapture also have great sounds for trance music. You might want to checkout Cakewalk's free synths - also available on the Cakewalk website.
