I wish Andrew Stockdale would make his hair into an afro again.

"Everything's goin on" in this song. Makes me wanna sit in a "Dead Meadow" and just "Howl from the Hills".

@opforce3 I agree with you, they do sound different, still good though. I love the new album, but the first just had a different feeling in it...
I know that almost every band used several guitar lines, even AC/DC which are pretty straight, with no effects and such, but Angus plays his solos on a third guitar line...so I'm completely fine with that, just wanted to mention^^

@ACDCaddicted Original Wolfmother was THE quintessential power trio. They did so much with only three members. The album had multiple guitar tracks, but that's true for almost every guitar oriented album. Just look at Zeppelin. There was an elegance and honesty in the original band that the new lineup lacks, even though the group is more technically talented and flexible. I don't dislike the new group or sound, but it's just not what I liked about old Wolfmother.

@opforce3 Or just think of AC/DC (yes, it's my favorite band...probably recognized it because of the name^^) without Malcolm Young at Rythm guitar. That wouldn't be AC/DC anymore. So the second guitarist makes a real difference...And some of the tracks of the first album have two guitar lines two, so it really makes sense^^

0:48 to skip to the song

I think that this live sounds better then the studio version.

@conoro2287 when i read a comment like that i know you weren't born yesterday because no one could get that stupid in 24 hours.
-
no i just listened to the original song and it sucks so your a tart.
-
@conoro2287 you're tripping in a bad way, dork. wolfmother has nothing on jason simon's guitar tones and songwriting.

they sound awesome, but does anyone else think the second guitarist is a bit superfluous? if he played lead, it would make sense, but stockdale still takes all the solos...

well, if you see bands where the singer plays second guitar, like metallica, pearl jam (third in the case), and a few others, it does make a difference. So, I guess there is no problem with that mate
