Yeah, but I think you miss the point,He is trying to convey the heart is too wicked t be trusted.Man is a sinful fallen creature, totally depraved and but for the grace of God totally hopeless as well because no good thing dwells in us apart from God's indwelling Spirit. So without being born-again of the Spirit of God we are dead in our trespasses and sins, spiritually dead with a wicked heart. There are two types of people in the world, children of God and children of disobedience, the devil.

By *choice* the above is correct, man`s choice to be fallen. On the other hand you can NOT say we are all bad EXCEPT for the *spirit of God* within us. You CAN`T have it both ways. Those who choose to be good are, and those whoi choose to not are not because the Spirit of God IS within us ALL!

ok, now no one really believes me, but here it goes.........i very very vaguely remember....(when i was ... yes ...a baby/ barley able to talk) ... kinda remember choosing the life i wanted to live and being sent here. (yes, by god himself) and i wasn't the only one their. other spirits or angles....very vague...but i can remember everything was perfect and the knowledge was infinite as well as my senses were perfect...well maybe even better than that.

He is speaking of habitual sin, premeditated, day in and day out loving your sin, this is a clear sign of an unregenerate heart, one that aims to please self with no regard for God or His will in one's life.
