  • Thank you for helping our fids! They need people who will think of them as their fids :>)

  • As a bird lover...this brought tears to my eyes! thank you so much for your hard work!!

  • happy to see no birds where forced out of small enclosures

Studying body language we learn to listen or end with bird that thinks a "hard" bloody bite no one can ignore is all that is left . This is how we teach birds to bite ..by ignoring what they are trying to tell us and just doing what we want anyway until they figure out to keep biting harder and harder until we have to listen to ignore biting is not effective and increases biting not decreases it

  • thank you for all you have done. it is an honorable, worthy thing you all do and SO very needed:) will tree like perches be added in time? and if they're too afraid to step up on your hand, try a stick or dowel rod. many times they will be ok with that and you can work up to the hand step-up. remember, even though it will hurt, its important NOT to pull your hand away if they try to bite. none of those were scared to death, just very unsure in unfamiliar surroundings, smells, sounds and humans:)

  • so did you take home the one who preferred being with you:) the B&G that stayed on your shoulder?

  • So sweet! thanks for all you do!

  • Awesome!

  • So wonderful to see! I live very close to the horrid place these birds escaped and to see them like this is just amazing! You can tell they have had the care they have always needed. Thank You for your dedication and care!

  • This has brought tears of joy to my eyes. The one who bonded with you, so precious. Thank you for all you do :)
