This is a short scene from the critically acclaimed Wes Anderson's second movie, "Rushmore". It pretty much represents the spirit of the whole picture and is captivating.

I love this movie, especially this scene, and try not to let its hipster following get me down.

If you look closely at this scene, what do you see?
A broken man, unwed, unhappy.
He sees the happiness in the lives of everyone but himself.
He wants to die.
I think it's a powerful scene.
