US marines to probe 'abuse video'

The US Marine Corps says it is launching an investigation after a video was published on the internet appearing to show US marines urinating on dead bodies in Afghanistan.
It is unclear who posted the video - and Al Jazeera cannot verify its authenticity.
Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports from Washington.

war dehumanizes all who are forced to engage in it. I'm not justifying what this video shows but every military has people who react to war this way and always has. i personally dont care about the shit hole talibans. they all deserve to die, but I wish our marines hadnt become so callous to death as they appear to be here. its a shame. Question: why did they allow themselves to be videod?

the guys pissing are called: "US marines". On the contrary the dead guys are called: "Taliban". Why not be called Afghan fighters or the first ones: christian fundamentalists in uniform?
