1893, Hemp was born and he was a crossbreed. There was a competition to find the best herding dog, and this was old Hemp. Since, theyve been breeding dogs that are the same as Hemp. Today, Border Collie's are considered purebreeds. No dog is a pure bred, they are ALL crossbreeds in their genetics. So STFU!
