  • As a kid in the early 1950s I toured Cherokee Cave with my dad and little brother. At the entrance was an elaborate display of music boxes and other collections with had nothing to do with a cave. But once we got into the cave we felt awed. And amazed at how beautifully cool it was. The cave was in excellent shape then, though most of it was not accessible for the public.
