Here is Sirius and the moon seen from earth. I know that it is Sirius because this is the brightest star on the night sky. Sirius is next to Orion and next to two other big stars called Betelgeuze and Rigel. Sirius is about 5 to 10 times bigger than our sun.

  • Sirius is behind Orion, and you can't see it before dark!

  • TIP: If the object is flashing, it is a star. If the object is not flashing, you´re seeing a planet. Period.

  • Venus you idiot

  • @behnamasid I thought it was Venus too :o

  • looks like jupiter

  • In mass and diameter, it is about 2.5 times that of our sun, but its volume is 12 times that of the sun. "bigger" simply isn't specific enough.

  • Actually, it is 10 times bigger than the sun, it states in other videos,

  • @crystarrrr Correct, south west pointing of the Orion belt. This video is sheer crap!

  • Four times bigger

  • I think a kid made this video. you should know sirius is 2 times bigger then our sun.
