@lippertism Lutherans hold Mary in high esteem because, from all women of all times, God chose her to be the mother of the Savior. She knew it would be a tough job but accepted the role graciously. Because God so honored her, so too do Lutherans honor her. But Mary was still a human being, born in sin, and in need of the Savior she herself carried. She is not to be accorded worship worthy only of God.

@TheChristianshymns Ah yes, know i have a quistion Luther was Catholic him-self until he posted 95 on the All-Saints Church in Germany. Then he started a church on his own! Do Lutherans honer Mary like Catholics do?
