Hey hey Mr X, ya need to increase the mic volume/decrease the game volume to make what you're saying clearer, for when you start your mejor LP project(s). :)

I wish I knew how. Nothing I've tried seems to work, so I just lower the game volume, but that only makes my voice a tiny bit clearer. Advice?

What kind of set up do you have to record it? I just have a speaker about the same distance away from the mic as my head is, and record like that. That way it's pretty easy to raise/lower the volume of the game in the bachground.

I have a headset, with headphones and a mic. I also have another mic unattached to headphones, like yours, but I don't use it. The headset, by the way, isn't attached to speakers. I use use the pink and green inputs on the back of the computer.

Unplug the input from your headset that's feeding your headphones and have the sound come out of your PC speakers - this is what I'm doing. My mic is attached to a headset and I just use the mic input
