http://www.WatchMojo.com presents Top Ten NCAA Basketball Programs of All Time. Here is the Introduction explaining the criteria and #10: The University of Maryland Terrapins.
ok first off, Rick Pitino will not go into the Hall of Fame for being at Louisville. He'll forever be known for what he's done at Providence and Kentucky. Louisville has 2 national titles but have not been consistent in the last 15 or so years. You go back 30 years and yes they're are definitely in the top 10. But overall, this countdown did a very good job. Maryland is definitely the weakest out of these 10 but they do belong at the 10 spot and the other schools are where they should be as well
Maryland? Georgetown? Michigan State? Ahead of LOUISVILLE? Holy crap man, get a clue! The 'Ville has TWO national championships, SEVEN Final Fours, a Hall of Fame coach that stayed 30 years (Coach Crum), a future Hall of Famer (Pitino), top five in attendance since the early 80s (and they're building a new 22,000+ seat arena that will be packed every night. Louisville belongs at #6, behind UCLA, UK, Duke, Kansas, and Indiana. LOUISVILLE has way more history than MSU, G'town, and UConn!
